Instructions for Using the Report Lookup:

Contained in our database is a complete list of all reports received from the National Weather Service. While we are continually developing this look-up feature, at the moment these services are supported:

All National Weather Service Reports xxxxxx/yyyy

Any 6-digit National Weather Service report, followed by any National Weather Service reporting station. Try 'fpus54/khgx'. This will bring up a list of zone forecasts for Southeast Texas.

OR x??????/yyyy

Any partial report identifier, followed by the National Weather Service reporting station. Try 'f%/khgx'. This will bring up a list of all forecasts issued by KHGX. The '%' character is a wild-card.

Surface Observations SA/yyyy

All SA (Surface Observations) can be brought up using this format with the 4-digit airport ICAO code, or 4-digit weather reporting station identifier. Try 'SA/KIAH'. This will bring up the last 3 hours of observations at Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport. Also, you can try 'sa:h6/iah' to bring up the last 6 hours of observations.

GFS Model Data GFS/yyyy

All GFS Model Forecasts can be brought up using this format with the 4-digit airport ICAO code, or 4-digit weather reporting station identifier. Try 'GFS/KIAH'. This will bring up the last 3 days of GFS model information for Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport.

NAM Model Data NAM/yyyy

All NAM Model Forecasts can be brought up using this format with the 4-digit airport ICAO code, or 4-digit weather reporting station identifier. Try 'NAM/KIAH'. This will bring up the last 3 days of NAM model information for Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport.

NGM Model Data NGM/yyy

All NGM Model Forecasts can be brought up using this format with the 4-digit airport ICAO code, or 4-digit weather reporting station identifier. Try 'NGM/IAH'. This will bring up the last 3 days of NGM model information for Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Terminal Forecasts FT/yyyy

All Terminal Forecasts can be brought up using this format with the 4-digit airport ICAO code, or 4-digit weather reporting station identifier. Try 'FT/KIAH'. This will bring up the last 3 days' Terminal Forecasts for Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Area Forecasts FA/xxxy

Area forecasts can be brought up by typing in the 3-digit station identifer followed by a
'C' for Significant Clouds and Weather,
'H' for Hazards/Flight Precautions,
'S' for Synopsis,
'I' for Icing,
'T' for Turbulence and Low-Level Shear.

Try 'FA/ancH' for hazards in the Anchorage, AK regional area, or 'FA/dfwC' for Clouds and Weather in the Dallas/Ft. Worth regional area. In some cases, the report can be brought up by typing in FA/yyyy where yyyy is the 4-digit airport ICAO code.

US Winds Aloft Forecasts FDUS52/

All US Winds-Aloft Forecasts can be brought up with this report. Just type in 'FDUS52/'. You can also use 'FDUS01/' for a brief list. You an also request the winds aloft for a particular reporting station. Try 'FD/CLL' for College Station or 'FD/HOU' for Houston. Other National Weather Service Reports Include:
